Lacey Act

Anyone who has imported/exported into the United States, transported, sold, received, acquired, or purchased wood products made from illegally harvested timber may be prosecuted for violation of the Lacey Act as of May 22, 2008.

All paper products will need to have a declaration which will be submitted using the US Department of Agriculture Declaration Form. The form needs to include the pulp source genus and species name of plant sources used in manufacturing the paper.
