Schedules and Turnaround Time:

Here are some general guidelines for scheduling your project:

Prepress
Prepress usually takes 1 month to 2 months. This depends on whether we are scanning original art, or if you are supplying final hi-res files. Please allow for two rounds of color proofs and one round of digital ozalids.

Manufacturing
Printing and binding for a standard hardback or paperback book is 3 to 4 weeks. If your project requires special treatments, such as flocking or single page tip ins, the manufacturing time may be extended. Please discuss your unique project with your sales representative.

Shipping
Door to door delivery takes approximately 4 to 6 weeks, depending on location of the warehouse.

Some additional notes about scheduling:

• Air courier travel time from Hong Kong to US is two days.
• Air courier packages from US to Hong Kong take about 3 to 4 days. Packages that are shipping on Friday will generally arrive in Hong Kong the following Monday.
• It is important to adhere to schedules once they are established because press time is allocated accordingly. A single missed day in providing materials can mean several lost days in the overall schedule.
